In March of 2015, during the second year of my PhD, I discovered that I was suffering from cancer. 

After years of therapy and surgery, I could have won my battle. To all people who find themselves in this situation, I warmly invite you to hang on your passions and purpose, they will give you strenght in darkest times. Continuing my research was important to me, you are not your disease.
